Roulette game in simple terms
On a casino floor, there are tables for Blackjack and other card games of chance, and there are larger table games that require multiple bets to achieve great wins. One of these gaming table hosts the game of Roulette. People will play Roulette using a chip color assigned by the Dealer. These gaming chips will indicate not only identity of the person who placed the bet, but will also identify the money value of the chip he has wagered. All Roulette tables set a minimum amount that must be wagered on each bet.
The parts used during a game of Roulette are the Roulette board, Roulette Wheel and Spinning Ball, betting chips, and the Dealer will have a clear marker to identify the winning number on the playing table. The dealer will tell the players to place their bets, and players will go into action, spreading their chips throughout the maze of numbers that are displayed on the Roulette board.
The Roulette Board is set up with the numbers 1 through 36 arranged in rows of 3. These three rows will contain 36 numbers in all and are arranged in rows of 12 from left to right. Of these 36 numbers, 18 numbers on the Roulette Board will be colored red, and 18 numbers will be colored black. At the top of these rows, there will be two green colored slots that are numbered 0, and 00 respectively.
All of the numbers on the Roulette playing board will be surrounded by white squares. These playing lines are very important in playing the game of Roulette, as they will allow the Roulette player the opportunity to take advantage of several betting strategies at one time.
The betting strategies involved in Roulette center on the numbers on the playing board, the three odds setting boxes underneath these three column of numbers, and another wagering area to the left of the playing board, where players can bet by wagering the specific color that the spun ball will land on, the specific number range that will come up, in blocks of 12 numbered slots, or whether the ball will be an odd or even number.
The odds for the boxes to the left of the Roulette playing board will generally be offered in increments of 1st 12 numbers, 2nd 12 numbers, and 3rd 12 numbers with even money being paid on the winning number range selected. There are also wager choices where the player can wager on if the number will be 1-18, or be in the 19-36 number range. The minimum bet included in the table rules posted on the Roulette table, can be divided among the numbers on the Roulette playing board, and the odds selection of red and black, or green numbers in any monetary amount per numbered block.
When numbers are marked the Dealer will spin the ball in a backwards rotations, and wait until the ball falls into a slot on the wheel. As the ball spins, the Dealer will state that no more bets can be placed. The number will be marked by the Dealer on the Roulette playing board, and all chips not in that area will be removed from the table.
