Everybody today knows what a firewall is and how important it is for protecting your computer from external attacks either from the internet or from the hardware that you plug into your computer. These firewalls protect your computer from all kinds of foreign attacks like mal ware, malicious software, and spy ware and also from bad disks or corrupted disk data. Thus they are indispensable in today’s age. Sometimes people do not have enough information about the firewall actions and hence they wonder that how safe firewalls are or how can they save their computers from attacks. They do not deny the fact that firewalls exist but deny its credibility without even using it once.
Well these people are unaware of the firewall because they are ignorant about the threats and level of threats. They still think that a virus can be easily removed with the help of their old age anti virus system. But the fact is that their traditional anti virus system cannot even detect the Trojans and other deadly viruses that have been produced till date. They either have not used the internet or have not downloaded data from malicious links on the internet that’s why they d not feel the urge to understand firewalls. But the fact is that these people understand the internet threats, the hard way. When their computer gets completely destroyed with viruses and there is no other option left rather then loosing all their data and upload the operating system again from scratch then they always have a firewall.
So if you are someone who thinks that firewalls are no better than money wasting products then change you thought today. There are large numbers of advantages that firewalls offer you. There are firewalls that can show you the number of attempts to hack your computer. You can get the IP addresses of the incoming traffic and can monitor the activity of people. You can very well make sure that a particular IP address should never see your personal and important details. This is what firewalls do for you, it gives you a complete privacy and complete security with the fun and adventure of the internet. Basically firewalls are like bodyguards, they will monitor and if some one tries to harm you, they will block them. Thus they are extremely important to have if you want your self safe.
