When the renting and real estate services require that tenants are screened, then the charges for this type of service will also include charges for background checks, eviction screening, identify verifications, and the usual employment and reference checks that many people have come to expect when they fill out a rental application.

The renting and real estate services may also have to provide good contact with the tenant and tenant relations can take up a lot of time. Some of these tenant relations can get quite unnerving because the real estate management office may have to contact the tenant to facilitate evictions and recouping money for damages to the property.

Many of the renting and real estate services that are offered are typical in rentals, and might require the real estate management office to collect monthly rents, perform monthly maintenance checks and associated repair services, or hire some other company to repair the premises. In essence, the real estate management office becomes a 24 hour emergency service that is at the beck and call of the tenant of the rental property.

The renting and real estate services that are performed on the rental property will always require that the real estate management office prepares the leases, attends the lease signing and may require them to perform the pre-lease inspection where any abnormalities to the property will be fully documented. Any repairs noted on that inspection will have to be handled as soon as possible.
