If you want your ego reduced to rubble in a New York instant, stand beside someone that has a wallet full of credit cards and let them ask you if you would like to borrow one to buy yourself some new clothes, because they definitely think you need it. The person that has these credit cards has worked hard on the credit rating that earned them, or they have married a man that makes a very excellent salary.
That is why they have so many credit cards, and it affects the way they think at times. These people are normally women, and they spend their days in shopping malls and massage spas thinking about what they can place on their multi-limit credit cards. AT some point in the week, they may find that they are actually bored with their life, and continue to spend their credit card monies like the money is going out of style.
For the meager paid working girl, a credit card is actually an achievement that they have reached in their life. Through prompt payments over a long period of time, they have earned their own personal credit limit and have found that they no longer have to pay the annual fees on their credit cards. They make sure that the monthly payments are paid ahead of time, and this is one of the factors that are considered when it is time for the credit card lender to raise credit limits on a person’s credit cards.
The credit cards are closely monitored by the consumer credit bureaus, and credit card companies monitor all purchases that are made too. There are security features in place to protect credit card purchases, and any out of the ordinary spending on credit cards could lead the credit card company to freeze the card until they talk to the credit card owner personally.
Credit cards will generally be issued with a credit limit of $300, which is considerably low for many consumers. These credit cards are meant for people that are deemed to have bad credit histories. Their credit histories are probably littered with continual late payments, over credit charges, and bankruptcies being filed sometime in their life. There are credit card companies that are willing to take risk on giving a person with a bad credit history some credit cards, but the interest rates they will charge them will take some of the pain out of it.
